A night without electricity

Last night, I was reading a book in my room before I went to sleep. When suddenly, my nightlight and fan turned off. I was frightened! So I reached out of the door and cried out to my father. The whole house had no eletricity! My brother's came out of their room and ask what happened, "We have no electricity!" My father answered. Without the fans blow, the only place to stay comfortable is in the living room, where the balcony is. We took the torch light and any other things that can shoot out light. We went to our bedrooms and took our pillows out to the sofa to sleep. We planed how to fit on the small sofa but soon, it was OK. My big brother was the first one to sleep, followed by my younger brother, then, the only poeple in our house that was still awake was me and my father. I was awake almost till 3 am in the morning, which was when the electricity came back. My father let me into his room and turned on the fan, making me more comfortable to sleep. The next morning I was relieved that the huses electricity was back, hoping that that night won't come again.

Tim ,Eve & Brendon (Part 2)

For screaming, mom stopped to catch her breath. Then she took a dusty book from the shelf. The title was ”Legends from the deep”. She flipped to a page that had the word “The Horrus”. “The monster is called “The Horrus?” Tim asks. “Yes.” Mom answered. “Gran use to read it to me, but I never knew the legend was real!” “We must catch it!” Brendon said. “Yes, kids, Get ready!” Mom said. Then they all grabbed some hunting equipment and went out. Outside, they saw nothing but the lake and trees.

“It must have went away already!” Brendon said. But then, before they could blink, The monster whipped its tail and attacked them. “Whoa!” Brendon said. They landed on a grass field butt first. “Ouch!” Eve said as she rubbed her butt. When they got up, the monster was gone, so they went home. “My butt still hurts!” Eve said. “Don’t worry, my dears!” Mom said. “With some hard work, we are sure to catch it tomorrow.” The next day, they woke up about six thirty in the morning. “Yawn, cant we catch it in the afternoon?” Tim said. “Because, we can attack it in its sleep!” Mom said. “But we don’t even know where it lives!” Eve said. Then mom took out the book” Legends from the deep” and flipped to the page with “The Horrus” and pointed to words which were: “Lives in a cave of Mount Suwherera.”

“Oh, okay!” Eve said. Then they begin their journey. “Kids, did pack everything, yet?” Mom asks. “We did, Mom! Brendon answered. “Good, lets go!” Tim said. So, They ran out of the house. They traveled across hills, seas, and much more. An hour later, They finally reached Mount Suwherera. They saw a big, Dark cave. “We are not going in there, right?” Tim and Eve ask. “I am afraid so…” Mom said. “It’s a good thing I brought a flashlight.” Brendon said. After they turned it on, they went into the cave. “Its creepy in here!” Eve said. “Wait, I hear snoring!” Brendon said. When he shined the flashlight on the place which was snoring, he saw “The Horrus
”. “Aaaah!!” Brendon shouts. The scream woke the monster. “Brendon, you fool!” Eve said. The monster attacked, and they flew into the sky.

They landed on rocks butt first. “Ouch! That hurt even more than yesterday!” Eve said. They soon got back on their feet, and they started to attack. But none of their attacks seem to injure the monster. “Now what?!” Brendon said. “We use extra punches!” Mom said. Still, after they attacked more, the same thing happened. “Huff, I am exhausted.” Eve said as she wiped her sweat. “What can we ever do to defeat this monster?” Tim asks. Then, the monster attacked them with extra power, and they flew all the way from the cave to their house. They landed on the lake, right in front of their house. “It’s a good thing this wont make the butt hurt!” Eve said as she and the others climbed out of the lake. “Yech! I hate wet clothes!” Tim said as he took his shirt off. They washed up one by one and changed to dry clothes. “Much better.” Mom said. “But we have to think of a plan to defeat the monster. They thought for hours and hours, but still no plan to defeat “The Horrus”.

My story : " Eve,Tim & Brendon (part 1) "

Once upon a time, there lived a little house in the woods. The house was made by planks of wood. Inside the house lived a family. They have two sons and one daughter, the daughter is Eve, a son was Tim and the other was Brendon. Eve was twelve, Brendon was sixteen and Tim was five. They were a very poor family.

One day, They were having lunch in their broken kitchen. “I have nothing to do today…..”Tim said as he scooped up a spoon full of porridge. “How about going swimming in the lake?” Brendon asks as he stuffed a spoon filled with porridge into his mouth. “But its hot!” Eve interrupted. “I don’t want to get a tan!” After discussing for a few minutes, they decided to go.

Later that day, they were ready to go. They wore their only swimsuits and packed their homemade sun block and broken goggles. “Okay, lets go!” Tim shouted. “Brendon!” Eve said. “Is everything here?’’, “Yes, they are!” Brendon answered. “Then we are ready to go?” Tim asks as he jumped up and down. “Yes, everything is here, I am sure!” Brendon said. Ten minutes later, they were at the lake. “Phew, Eve was right, it is hot!” Brendon said. “And when are you going to be done with that sun block?” , “In a few minutes!” Eve said. “With her, it probably means a couple of hours” , Tim said. Eve looked angrily at him. “Only kidding! Honest!” Tim said.

“I will be done soon, okay?” Eve said while she rubbed sun tan lotion on her. “There, I am done!” “Good!” Brendon said as he smiled. ”Give it please!” , “Sure thing!” Eve said. Then she passed it to him. Splash!! Went Eve. “Brr, the water is freezing!” She said. “Hey, Eve!”, “You forgot your goggles!” Tim said as he passed her goggles to her. “Thanks! I need them!” She said. Dunk! Went the goggles. “You fool!!” Eve said. “They sunk deep to the bottom!” “Err, oops?” Tim said. A sudden blaze of fury suddenly came. Eeps! Tim shouts. Eve sighs. “I will get them……..She said.

Then she dived deep down to the bottom. “Got them !” Eve said. “But you are still in trouble when we get home!” “Don’t tell mom, please!” Tim said. “Guys, lets just swim, okay?” Brendon said. “Where?” Asks Tim. “Its all blocked by the big monster.”
“What? What big monster?”. Ask Brendon. Well, That! Tim said as he pointed to a monster in the lake. It had wings as big as fridges, its tail was as long as big rope, it looks almost like a giant eel on wings! “Aaaaaaaaahh!!!” Eve shouted. Her two brothers shouted as well. The monster roared and it made all three of them fly into the air. They landed onto the front of their house door. Eve and Tim smashed the door and said, “Mom,mom!!” The door opened and out came mom. “Mom!” Tim shouted. “Theres a giant lake monster outside!” “Oh please, kids!” said mom. There is no such thing as a…..
Then she saw it in one of the holes in the roof. “Lake monster?” Mom continued. Then she screamed.
